That is terrible. Can you not still contact them though through e-mail. I thought there was a way you could.
PM me the link please.
I am sorry
Here is my finished auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MESO%3AIT&rd=1
There is an auciton ending about 8 hours from now with my picture-- Laura's Kailey, my coffee maker and my kitchen! This auction is not my buyer, not the doll I sold.
I reported it to eBay, but unfortuantely, it will probably end before eBay can even get to my message. I wish I could contact the bidders... it's so dishonest and deceiving.
grrrrrr!

Have you thought about emailing the seller? Maybe they will end the auction if they know you are reporting them to ebay.
It's dishonest to use a picture of a doll other than the one you are selling--I don't bid on auctions using catalog pictures, either, since it's not an actual picture of the item being sold.
Heather,
Can you tell if they are just linking to your original picture or did they copy it to their computer and rename it? If they are linking to your original picture then you could change the picture to something else and that would show up in their auction. Try right clicking on the picture and see what it says.
The listing says this:
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Didn't Kailey come in a yellow box?The window portion of the box-- so sorry I can't add a photo-- is the bright blue polka dots Today box and has a Kailey sticker. It is a lilac boogie board with a teal circle behind it.
I don't know what to tell you about the picture. Contact ebay, and then email the seller.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have, and I'm trying to work up the nerve. They can't really do anything worse than sending me a nasty message back, right? I'll need to block them as a bidder on my current auctions as well, just as a precaution.Originally posted by AsianAG:

I *could* email the bidders, but I don't want any backlash from eBay. Does anyone know what happens if they catch you contacting biddres on another auction?
LOL - That's exactly what I was thinking to change the picture to!
If you email the bidders on someone else's auction, it is considered interference and Ebay can/will suspend your account. I know it's terrible, but I wouldn't email the bidders.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I like the way you girls think! Unfortuantely, I didn't do webhosted pictures on this auction. I uploaded it directly to eBay. Need to change that practice, I see...Originally posted by Skittl1321:
